For a company that grows
consistently and continuously

Kyouei Kouzai's founder, the late Kenichi Matsumoto started the company in 1954, during the post-war reconstruction period. Starting with just a single trailer, the company has continued investing piece by piece in equipment to match the times up to the present day.
The most important goal for a company is sustainability. That is why we have worked to differentiate ourselves through creating products with higher added value and detailed support and proposals.
We have developed equipment able to perform slit treatment for ultra thick steel materials (16.6mm), the thickest in the world and much thicker than sheets that can be cut at general coil centers. By also responding to niche market needs such as descaling and enabling small width slits for thick sheets, we work to exceed expectations. That is how we achieve cooperation with users, steel producers and machine manufacturers.

Kyouei Kouzai treats and sells steel materials with a focus on the automotive industry and thereby contributes behind the scenes to the industry's development in Japan. As we look to the growth in electric vehicles in the near future, the number of parts needed per vehicle will vastly decrease resulting in a sea change for the automotive industry. Can the companies involved in the industry survive the next ten or twenty years? That is the kind of transformational time we face.
We continue to always seek solutions for energy saving and environmental issues. As harder steels are researched, technologies that can treat that steel are needed.
As a coil center our future lies in our past efforts to handle thicker and harder materials with more precise treatments using our original technologies and creative solutions as we take these to new heights, maintaining competitiveness for the sustainability and development of our company.

We also led our industry in ISO14001, ISO9001, OHSAS18001 and other certification and have taken steps recently towards BCP measures as important for our business. We have invested in equipment so that each location has increased machine capacity to enable replacement with other equipment in case one is down, and our measures to reduce the impact of disasters such as earthquakes enable us to restore production capacity as quickly as possible in the event of a disaster. We plan to actively pursue the continuing of these meaningful efforts.

Our company is built on transformation after transformation, with ongoing growth built on experience fostered towards competitiveness in the future to be deployed in growth markets around the world as we work to contribute to global standards in manufacturing. We thank you for your guidance and encouragement.
